while i like the pacing of the original anime better, the movie was just gorgeous to watch and i thought they way they adapted it for the big screen was really interesting. even though i did not like a lot of the things they did it was a really worthwhile experience and a lot of the new animation was really cool!!

the movie kinda screwed up a bit though, like it would just randomly stall at points but even that was fun because people did shadow plays which was really cool. and i met some really cool people too!!

the movie was fun but I think the thing that made it so amazing was the experience. Like… idk its different to watching a normal movie. Theres a sense of community i guess?? like when we saw Harry Potter, everyone is there for similar reasons and share similar feelings about the series so it was really great to watch the movie in that setting.

I think the work that could sum up my entire experience here would be; UGH
