I thought Pitch was a great character, then I read his backstory and my poor heart. This is a little different than the canon story that William Joyce wrote, since Pitchiner wasn’t writing when he decided to succumb to the Fearlings, but I thought it would be sort of sweet, if he kept a military journal at least and wrote a bit everyday about the state of his prisoners and any changes.

I wanted to depict him as closely to the canon as possible, with the same sort of features, but with a more human aura. Also, since he’s part of the Golden Army during the time of the Constellations, he has the insignia of Cygnus.

I need to draw the other characters too. ugu, my poor hand.

I feel happier thinking that…. that kid Loki’s story will never truly be forgotten, and he wont really disappear either.

Like… we will remember, and he will still exist in our stories and art and such. We all know how hard he tried and fought and the good he did, and we wont attribute all those achievements to Old Loki the way they may be in universe.

That makes me feel better, and I think that would make lil Kid Loki feel better too.
