i completely adore these shoes. I got them for my birthday last year and this is the first occasion where I felt it has been appropriate to wear them (I really dont go out much). im really excited to wear these shoes.

also the queer collective movie night was great!!
I met heaps of really nice people and especially this one guy I started talking to for most of the night, we started watching RENT but people found it too boring and long for the night so we watched Mean Girls
I had the objectively best seat in the house so I declared myself King of the room to the few people around me (they all agreed), and the guy I made friends with randomly crochet me a mustache, because every King worth their salt needs a mustache
it resulted in the following conversation (paraphrased)
“Woah.. so I can keep this?”
“Yeah, I mean it’s kinda crappy”
“yeah well…. no-one’s ever crochet me a mustache before…”
*at which point we start laughing for 7 minutes straight or something.*
*while laughing* “That’s not.. a sentence that you hear very often…..”
He’s a fun guy
We also questioned in RENT
Anyway it was really great, I had to leave early and I hope I see him and all the other people I met again at more queer collective stuff
+ also one of the ladies who runs it said that there’s a really cool asexual community in Sydney so I’m TOTALLY looking into that!

The heroes stared at the two people sitting on the League’s conference table as the strangers took in the room and their viewers. The older of the two began to flail slowly toward the other, as though trying to get her attention, while the other sat there smiling broader as she took in the heroes. A voice came from behind the group.
“Hey! What’s going on? Ohmygodyou’reblockingdoorwhat’sinthere— Who are they?” The large-haired boy blinked at the newcomers.
“We’re here on a mission!” said the older.
“A very important mission from another world,” added the second.
Batman stepped forward. ”What is your mission?”
“We’re supposed to give you all all the hugs!”
“All the hugs?” Impulse asked, eyes wide. At the word “hugs”, Nightwing perked up automatically.
“All the hugs.”
And there was much hugging.
