I’m going to imagine the very second he realized what mentoring Bart Allen would truly mean his hair immediately turned grey from stress

Well let me show you a little something something about how he used to be

[I love the lightning bolt painted across his eyes, I haven’t seen that in any other variations of Windrunner! However, I don’t like it with the one on his chest]

[The ONLY complaint I had about KFL was Max’s hair was a lighter color than depicted everywhere else but daaayyuum]

I love love love his second costume. one of my kid Mercury designs incorporated it.

 (This is when he was Lightning) I don’t think it appeared anytime before the Impulse series so I’m pretty certain it was deliberately made to resemble Bart’s costume.

 I think this one,(first appearance, i think) Whip Whirlwind would be easy to alter into something modern too. (Not keeping the name though~ At least not the Whip part) 

It should also be noted that I had finally decided that when Bart was ready to drop the “kid” title and pass it on to Jai (we’d work it out, somehow) his new alias would be one of Max’s old ones.

I just haven’t picked one because wow some of these are good
